TRISTAR MX is a premier motocross series, running spring, summer & fall! Our 2024 MX series competes over 4 tracks located in Kentucky, Illinois, and Alabama. Our series will be a two day racing format with two motos counting towards the overall results.
Electronic Scoring - transponders will be available to rent at every round or you can use your own

Class Fees:
- $35.00 for your first class
- $30.00 for your 2nd
- $25.00 for your 3rd
- $45.00 for payout classes
- AMA membership required
We accept cash and credit/debit cards
Please wear your appropriate arm band at track!
• Refunds will be given in race credits only!
Overall Race day Awards
• 1st – 5th On all Classes
CHECK YOUR RESULTS – PROTEST PERIOD IS 30 MINUTES. NOT NEXT WEEK!!!!
Series Banquet Awards
- 1st- 10th place in all 50 cc series classes
- 1st – 5th On All other Classes
- If a tie is recorded in the final point standings the tie breaker will be the best finish
In the last event that either or both riders attended in that series.
Birth certificate may be required to prove a protest complaint!
Drops
MX - 1 Drop - Racers must race in 7 of the 8 events for Series Overall Award.
Practice in correct class
• One practice per rider, unless riding multiple bikes
• Cutting the track in practice will get you LAST GATE PICK in your Moto
• Late practice max 2 laps
• Must have practice sticker in order to enter track
• Must enter track in Staging area with proper stickers or armbands on for the day!
Rules:
We run AMA amateur MX class rules with any questions or protests to reference to!
• Protest for scoring, bike and class rules must be addressed within 30 minutes for the Moto post time.

*******SAFETY FIRST*******
- The Flags and Flagmen are for rider SAFETY. PAY ATTENTION
- Yellow Flag – NO PASSING – NO JUMPING or get docked position
- Red Cross Flag – Rider Injured – Slow by rider down Caution, “Wheels on the Ground NO Jumping or Passing”!
- Riders MUST be signed up before they get on the track, MUST HAVE THEIR TRISTAR MX PRACTICE STICKER!
- 2 Moto format averaged for lowest points overall for finish.
- 1st Moto gate pick computer pick, 2nd Moto gate pick based on first Moto finish.
- Riders MUST finish ½ the laps of the leader plus, MUST take the checkered flag in at least one moto to be scored for an overall finish position
- Riders involved in fighting WILL be DISQUALIFIED for the event, with no refund!
- NO PIT RACING – 5mph speed limit (1st gear) while on the grounds and pit road at ALL TRACKS!
- Must sign up for class/classes that coincide with your age as of January 1, 2024
- Minor Release forms must be signed by Parent for all riders under the age of 19 Riders 18 must also sign release!
- Racers must have Legible Different color back ground ,from numbers color (4” height minimum) bigger is better, on front and both side number plates to participate in race.
• Let’s be fair:
If a racer rides another bike in the 2nd Moto he or she would have to be protested by a racer in that same Moto for action of a DQ to take place.
It is the track owners discretion to allow the racer to compete if not Protested.
But, you the rider, must let the head scoring clerk at that track scoring crew know upfront of any changes before you go to staging!
